How often should I update my website?
For most companies, their website is their best sales device. It’s where new and existing customers both go to book, purchase or contact the company. Therefore treat it like you would your top salesperson and give them their bonuses to keep them working hard.
What is PPC
PPC stands for pay-per-click and is a form of advertising. Essentially you set a budget and are then charged per ‘click’ on your advert. The price per click varies dependent on the quality of your content and how useful it is rated. That means that if your content is helpful and not misleading the pay-per-click will be lower.
How much do you charge?
No two companies are the same so it’s difficult to give an exact figure but it also varies between jobs. The most common option is to pay £10 monthly for website hosting and then to have a separate set budget for the month which is used for general support. This budget can vary from a few hundred to thousands of pounds a month but there is no minimum limit so it’s entirely up to you.
To appear at the top of Google isn't it all about money?
No! When you search something into Google the first 3/4 results are often paid adverts however it is also clear that these are ads. Below these are the natural results which are based purely on the substance and tags of your website. This means that smaller companies can often outrank bigger ones by having better and more useful content.
What sort of businesses do you work with?
We specialize in smaller businesses however we have done work for bigger companies in the past and have experience in both. We don’t have any specifics for what sectors we work with and have a large range of clients.
Do you do social media?
We can. However, we recommend that it’s better if it is done in house because no one knows your company better than you. We often do social media advertising and we can offer support on any social media for our clients.
